Concentric Oak Series I

A series of vessels exploring surface, repetition, and concentric form through carved oak.

These works investigate circular geometry and the relationship between surface and depth, developed through repeated carving and material exploration.

Carved recesses and stepped forms echo topographic lines, revealing shifts in grain and structure across the oak. Each piece is shaped through a process of reduction, allowing the material to guide the final form.

Positioned between function and sculpture, the series holds a quiet presence — equally considered as individual works or in use.
