Savernake Knives collaboration, development study, 2026
Rachel Hutchinson has developed a collaboration with Savernake Knives, combining carved oak surfaces with precision-crafted British kitchen knives. The work explores how concentric carved surfaces can function as both preparation boards and sculptural objects within the kitchen.
Alongside the boards, a knife block is being developed to hold and display the knives — integrating storage into the wider material language of the work.
